What this website does and doesn’t collect.
You can read this site without connecting to YouTube. We run no website analytics and set no cookies of our own. Video players connect to YouTube only when you choose to load them. Our only saved website preference is light or dark mode.
Who we are
This website is run by RB Digital, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, trading as Angel Hub. For anything in this notice, write to info@angelhub.co.uk.
This notice covers this website — angelhub.co.uk. The Angel Hub application that hotels use is a separate service, and if you become a customer the agreement covering it is separate from this notice.
What loads when you visit
Our pages, fonts and video previews are served from this domain. We add no website analytics, tracking pixels or cookies of our own. There are no forms. Optional YouTube players stay unloaded until you choose to load one.
Before you load a video player, this site makes no requests to YouTube or other outside providers. You can still read lesson titles and follow a link to watch on YouTube instead.
What is stored on your device
For our own page controls, we save only your light/dark choice, and only if you use that button. It is saved in your browser’s local storage under the name ah-theme, stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing this site’s browser data removes it. YouTube may use its own cookies or storage after you choose to load a player, as explained below.
If you choose to watch a video
We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player, served from www.youtube-nocookie.com. It connects to Google only after you choose to load it. Google then receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details, along with information about the video and your interaction with the player.
Privacy-enhanced mode limits how views are used for personalisation; it does not mean that no data is processed. YouTube may use cookies or other storage and may show adverts. Read Google’s privacy policy and YouTube’s explanation of privacy-enhanced mode for its terms and your choices.
You can leave the player unloaded. If you load it and later choose “Close player”, this page removes that player; this does not erase information Google has already received or data it has stored on your device. Following a “Watch on YouTube” link takes you to YouTube, where its own policies apply.
What our hosting provider handles
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information needed to deliver a page and to protect the site from attack — including your IP address, the time of the request, which page you asked for, and your browser type.
We can see aggregate figures in Cloudflare’s dashboard, such as how many requests the site served. We have no analytics that identify individual visitors, and we do not build profiles of people who read the site.
If you email us
The address on this site is info@angelhub.co.uk. Mail to it is routed by Cloudflare to a mailbox provided by Google, where we read and reply to it.
We use what you send us to answer you and, if it leads to business between us, to keep an ordinary record of our dealings. We keep enquiry emails for as long as they are useful for that, and delete them when they are not.
Our lawful basis
For running our pages and replying to enquiries, we rely on legitimate interests under UK data protection law. The optional YouTube player loads only after your choice, as described above. Google explains its own purposes and legal bases in its privacy policy. You do not have to load a player to read this site.
Who else sees your information
The following providers may receive information when you use the services described here:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting the website and routing email sent to our address.
- Google — the mailbox where our email lands, and YouTube if you choose to load a video player or follow a YouTube link.
We do not sell visitor information or use it to build advertising profiles. Google’s processing through its optional video player is described above and in its privacy policy.
Where your information goes
Cloudflare and Google operate global networks, so information may be processed outside the UK. Their privacy notices explain where they process information and the safeguards they use for international transfers.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to info@angelhub.co.uk and we will reply within one month.
If you think we have handled your information badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you told us first, so we can put it right.
Changes to this notice
If we change how the site works — for example by adding a contact form or analytics — we will update this page and change the date at the top before the change goes live.
